Littlerock Dam meets the force of HardcoreDiveTeam - For 8 months in a solid systematic coverage from November 2010 till July 2011 has the Dam revealed itself as worthy component to the diving industry. Bearing 40 degree deep, dark clear water, is a treat just this side of cave or cavern experiences. Dropping down through heavy algae layer that thrives in the upper thermocline of mid 50s to mid 60s degree waters, that range in 20 to 30 feet deep, you find yourself going into a completely lightless environment. No sun, moon or stars, no bio-luminescence. And entering a temperature of upper 30s to lower and mid 40's. That's what was consistent throughout these 8 past months. Now full lake levels are dropping, and will continue until Labor Day. The reports for this coming summer will be posted as they are experienced!!
