Oahu Diving - I have lived on the island for about 18 months now and diving pretty much all the time. Though you won't find many spots in SCUBA magazines, the diving here is pretty much year round. The weather is nice and the water stays nice and fairly warm. As for biology, you won't see a variety of corals, but there are plenty of topography formed by lava to explore and several speicies of inshore reef fish to find. The best diving in from May-Oct since you can dive almost all around the island. From Oct-May the North, East, and West coasts often get high surf. The North shore is a great place to surf during the Winter months boasting home to Pipeline and many surf competitions. Oahu has the most accessable coastline in the Hawaiian chain for those who love to shore dive as well as numerous dive shops with boats for diving.

YO-257 & Kewalo Pipe - Vis was 100ft+ awesome. White-tip, honu, tons of fish. Heard Atlantis submarine & some whales, but did not see either underwater.
