 Información adicional

English (Traducir este texto en Español): This is the local dive site for divers in Northern Virginia. It is an inland fresh water lake that was formed from a flooded quarry. Various ships, air planes, and other structures have been sunk for diver's use. Local dive shops conduct the whole gamut of training here. You must have a c-card to get in, so there are no fishermen, boats, or snorkelers.

Brrrr! - Went this past weekend for AOW cert and didn't enjoy much of anything about it. Viz was 3-5' since the zebra mussels were eradicated. Being a tropical diver, this was the first time in a quarry and the 43 degree temp at 70' was almost too much to bare despite the 7mm suit, hood and gloves! Compass navigation appears to be the only way to find the wrecks.
